This project studies the structural assembly of the Fukuoka baseball stadium inFukuoka, Japan and produces new design iterations that preserve the structuraland operable characteristics of the original dome to create a operable stadium at a new site in Pittsburgh. The new dome structure contains the same division of structure and slidingelement as the precedent. The panels are divided in smaller pieces and matches the geometry ofthe secondary structure, and rotate independently with a parametrically controlled rotation angle.
